Statement pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”)

UNOX S.p.A. (“UNOX”) with offices in Via Majorana 22, 35010 Cadoneghe (PD), as Data Controller of the processing (“Data Controller”), informs you of the following and asks that you read the contents of this statement carefully.
The statement is provided to UNOX customers as the website www.unox.com (hereinafter: “Website”) may collect your personal data, as described below. In any case, this is without prejudice to the provisions in the statement UNOX issues its customers at the time of signing the contract and relating to processing their personal data in order to execute the contract.

1. Purposes and lawful basis for processing
UNOX may collect the personal data you provide in order to register and enter the reserved area, which, amongst other things, allows you to extend the oven’s guarantee, access manuals, send requests or use the e-commerce platform.
In addition to providing the requested service (access to the reserved area or use of the e-commerce platform), UNOX may, with your specific consent, process your personal data, manually or by using electronic tools, in order to send marketing communications, newsletters, updates or invites to events.
Your e-mail address details provided during the sale of a product or service may also be used to send marketing communications about products or services similar to those sold, if you did not object to the processing. UNOX informs you of the possibility to oppose to processing at any time, which can be done easily and free of charge.

2. Obligatory and optional nature of data submission and consequences in the event of failed communication
Submitting your data for the purposes of performing the contract (use of the requested service) is optional, but failure to do so may make it impossible to provide the requested services.
Submitting your data for the purposes of direct marketing is optional and requires your prior consent. In the absence of this consent, you will still be able to use the requested service, but UNOX will not be able to send you promotional communications about its goods and services.

3. Storage period of personal data
Your personal data shall only be stored for the period strictly necessary for the purposes under point a) above, and in any case no longer than ten years from the end of the contractual relationship, after which they shall be deleted or made anonymous. This is without prejudice to any requirements related to ongoing or threatened proceedings.

4. Possible recipients or categories of recipients of personal data and transfer to countries outside the European Economic Area
Your data may be shared with the following parties:
- individuals, organisations or authorities with which communication is obligatory due to legal or regulatory provisions;
- persons, companies or professional firms that, as external processors or autonomous data controllers, provide assistance and consultancy to the Data Controller in relation to the maintenance and development of the UNOX computing system, to IT and telematics or storage services or in relation to accounting, administrative, legal, tax-related, financial or credit recovery matters relating to the provision of the service;
- internal authorised personnel.

Your personal data shall not be disclosed, unless this is necessary to fulfil obligations provided by the law, regulations and/or to execute obligations deriving from the contractual relationship.
Your data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area; in such case, UNOX shall verify that the destination country is deemed suitable, that the recipient party is Privacy Shield certified or that it has group rules approved by the competent authorities or shall sign agreements in this respect.
A copy of the appropriate or necessary guarantees adopted is available at the Data Controller’s offices and may be requested at any time.

5. Rights of Data Subjects
You have and may at any time exercise the following rights to:
a) Access your personal data;
b) Rectify or erase your personal data;
c) Limit the processing of your personal data;
d) Oppose, at any time, for reasons related to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data in pursuit of the Data Controller’s legitimate interests, unless the Data Controller proves there are legitimate binding reasons to proceed with processing that prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms or to certify, exercise or defend a right in legal proceedings;
e) Oppose, at any time, to the processing of your personal data carried out for the purposes of direct marketing;
f) Oppose, at any time and free of charge, to the processing of your personal data in order to offer products or services similar to those purchased;
g) Data portability;
h) Revoke consent, at any time, without compromising the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent provided before the revocation.
