Unox S.p.A, market leader in high-end oven production and certified as one of the 100 best places to work in Europe, is looking for a UI Designer Intern to join our team.In this role, you will work closely with our senior team on innovative projects, contributing to the design of interfaces for UNOX applications and product operating systems.
Main responsibilities- Collaborate with the senior team in designing and developing digital interfaces for UNOX applications and product operating systems.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and collaborative workshops to explore and develop new interface solutions.
- Contribute to the creation of mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity layouts, translating requirements and UX flows into clear, consistent, and intuitive interfaces.
- Own the visual aspects of the interface, including typography, hierarchy, spacing, color, and iconography, while also contributing to the creation and generation of graphic assets and imagery that enhance and complement the interfaces.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistency between the design and its implementation.
Requirements- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Communication Design, or a related field
- Understanding of fundamental UI Design principles, including visual hierarchy, typography, color, composition, and grid systems
- Familiarity with key interaction patterns and best practices for designing digital interfaces
- Ability to create mockups and prototypes using Figma
- Basic understanding of Design Systems and component-based design
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual consistency, quality, and precision
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and embrace constructive feedback
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to design and vibe coding approaches for quickly exploring, prototyping, or building digital interfaces
- Good written and spoken English skills
