Unox S.p.A, market leader in high-end oven production and certified as one of the 100 best places to work in Europe, is looking for a Product Designer - UI focus with at least 3 years of experience designing digital products to join our team.In this role, you will play a key part in defining and evolving the digital interfaces of applications, platforms, product operating systems, and corporate websites, working closely with UX Designers, developers, and other stakeholders.We are looking for someone with a strong design mindset, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to turn complex problems into simple, consistent, and high-quality interfaces.
Main responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality digital interfaces for UNOX products, from initial concept definition through to final delivery.
- Translate product requirements, UX flows, and complex problems into clear, intuitive, and scalable visual solutions.
- Create mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces, exploring different solutions and precisely defining behaviors, states, and interactions.
- Own every visual aspect of the interface, including typography, hierarchy, layout, spacing, color, iconography, imagery, and motion, while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
- Actively contribute to the definition, evolution, and maintenance of the Design System, designing scalable components, patterns, and guidelines across different products and platforms.
- Participate in and contribute to design reviews by challenging existing solutions, exploring new directions, and continuously raising the quality of the product.
- Collaborate closely with the development team throughout the implementation process, ensuring consistency between the defined design and the final product.
- Contribute to fostering a strong design culture within the team by sharing methodologies, feedback, and best practices.
Requirements- At least 3 years of professional experience as a UI Designer, Product Designer, or in a comparable role, with a strong focus on the visual design of digital products
- A portfolio demonstrating a high level of visual quality, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on involvement in the design of complex digital products
- Excellent understanding of UI Design principles, including visual hierarchy, typography, color, composition, grids, spacing, and information architecture
- Solid knowledge of key interaction patterns and best practices for designing web, mobile, and/or embedded interfaces
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, variables, prototyping, and shared library management
- Experience designing, evolving, and working with complex, scalable Design Systems
- Ability to design for different states, edge cases, resolutions, platforms, and usage contexts
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high quality standards while working on complex and multifaceted products
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, embrace critical feedback, and challenge your own solutions when necessary
- Strong autonomy and a sense of ownership, with the ability to manage priorities, complexity, and trade-offs without compromising the quality of the final user experience
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and developers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Junior (2-5 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using AI tools applied to design to accelerate exploration, concept generation, prototyping, and production workflows
- Familiarity with vibe coding or AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code or equivalent, to turn concepts and mockups into interactive prototypes
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions applied to digital interfaces
- Knowledge of key digital accessibility guidelines and best practices
- Good written and spoken English skills
