Unox S.p.A, market leader in high-end oven production and certified as one of the 100 best places to work in Europe, is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Operations Team.
Main responsibilitiesQuality Governance in Production Plants
- Define and implement production and assembly quality standards across all plants where ovens are manufactured.
- Ensure alignment of production processes with corporate, product, and quality requirements.
- Monitor quality performance across different facilities and drive improvement initiatives.
Control and Improvement of Assembly Processes
- Ensure that assembly and testing processes comply with defined technical and quality standards.
- Identify and reduce process and product non-conformities.
- Promote structured problem-solving activities (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, etc.).
Multi-plant Coordination
- Coordinate quality management across various production sites.
- Foster standardization of processes and best practices between plants.
- Support the startup of new plants, production lines, or process changes.
Quality Performance Analysis
- Define and monitor production quality KPIs (defect rates, scrap, rework, First Pass Yield, etc.).
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Lead continuous improvement plans in collaboration with Operations, Industrial Engineering, external suppliers, and Intercompany partners.
Non-Conformity Management and Corrective Actions
- Oversee the management of internal production non-conformities.
- Ensure the effective definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, and Service to resolve quality issues.
Development of Quality Culture
- Promote a quality-centric culture within production and assembly teams.
- Support operator training on quality standards and inspection/control methods.
- Spread continuous improvement and process quality approaches.
