Unox S.p.A, market leader in high-end oven production and certified as one of the 100 best places to work in Europe, is looking for an Mechatronics Industrialization Engineer to join our Kaizen Promotion Officer Team.
Main responsibilities
Responsibility for the industrialization of production processes involving automated machines and systems for the manufacturing of components and subassemblies, as well as product assembly and functional and safety testing of Unox products.
Design and development of automation solutions, both internally and in collaboration with specialized external suppliers.
For internally developed projects, analysis of production requirements and assessment of feasibility, quality, timing, and costs (QCT), followed by the management of the entire development process: mechanical and electrical design, PLC configuration and programming, software development, system implementation, installation, and commissioning within the production environment.
For projects outsourced to external suppliers, definition of technical and functional specifications, coordination and monitoring of development activities, verification of compliance with requirements, and management of the project through installation, testing, and commissioning at Unox.
As part of the Kaizen Promotion Office, contribution to the development and management of factory information systems, including MES and SCADA, aimed at improving and automating the planning, management, and monitoring of production lines and equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering, or an ITS diploma in Mechatronics.
Good knowledge of automatic systems and related components applied to the industrial/manufacturing world
Strong aptitude for teamwork and problem solving
