UNOX, a market leader in high-performance professional ovens and certified Great Place to Work®, is seeking a Market Development Specialist (Food Industry Applications) to join its RoboQbo Business Unit in Riyadh.Reporting to the Director of Sales MEA, the role will focus on developing RoboQbo’s business within the industrial sector across the GCC and Africa, driving new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships and supporting commercial growth.

Main responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities across the food industry, with a focus on industrial food production and processing.
  • Plan and deliver product demonstrations, application tests and Individual Cooking Experience (ICE) sessions to showcase RoboQbo's capabilities and demonstrate the value of its solutions in industrial food production processes.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including production managers, R&D managers, food technologists, operations directors and industrial equipment partners.
  • Deliver product and application training covering equipment operation, programming, cleaning, maintenance best practices and the integration of RoboQbo solutions into customers' production workflows.
  • Work closely with service and corporate-chef teams to ensure a strong customer experience from first demonstration through to post-sales support.
  • Identify customer needs and production challenges, translating them into relevant application opportunities and value propositions for RoboQbo's solutions.
  • Represent RoboQbo at industrial food exhibitions, trade fairs, industry events, technical workshops and customer demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate activity, opportunity and customer reports through the company CRM system.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a similar application, technical sales, product demonstration or customer-facing role within the food industry, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Background in food production, food technology, culinary applications or food processing, with a good understanding of industrial food production processes.
  • Experience in product demonstrations, application testing and customer training, with the ability to present technical solutions and demonstrate their value to different stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded, with a proven ability to identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs and build long-term relationships with industrial clients and business partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organisation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with production managers, R&D teams, food technologists and other key decision makers.
  • Experience with industrial cooking equipment, food processing technologies or professional food production systems would be an advantage.
  • Fluent English is essential; Arabic or another relevant regional language would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the GCC and North Africa to visit customers, industrial facilities and business partners.
